Summary of the Keep Quiet: "Keeping Quiet" is a very enlightening poem on our necessity of quiet introspection. Man's frantic activities, the rush and mad race in materialistic pursuits have caused much damage to this world. The poet wishes for a state of relaxed idleness away from all wars and destructive activities. According to him, this self-introspective silence would create a sense of mutual understanding within the human race and elevate them from the wretched path that leads to self-destruction. The profound silence would build up a sense of togetherness and make us realize the futility of the chaos where we live in.(Assamese coming soon)
